Namoranteng Primary School to get new building

Namoranteng(UER), May 26, GNA – A new six-classroom block, an office, store and a KVIP place of convenience being constructed by Talensi-Nabdam District Assembly for Namoranteng community at a cost of 105,717 Ghana cedis is being delayed due to irregular release of funds. The contract awarded to management of Atta Poku Enterprise and Company Limited on August 19, 2008 by the assembly was scheduled to be completed within six months.

Mr Samuel Kwame Tete, Talensi-Nabdam District Engineer and Mr Alhassan Fuseini, Talensi-Nabdam District Coordinating Director disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview at Namoranteng near Tongo in the Upper East Region. Mr Tete said work left to be done on the project was painting and construction of the place of convenience.
