NAGRAT agrees to invigilate this year’s SSS exams

Accra, June 29, GNA – The National Executives of the National Association of Graduate Teachers on Tuesday agreed to the allowances for invigilators and supervisors for this year’s July/August Senior Secondary School Examination.

This followed a memorandum of understanding the Executive signed with the Ghana Education Service and the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary School (CHASS), which said that NAGRAT’s proposal would be negotiated immediately after the examination.

A statement, which bears the signatures of Mr Kwami Alorvi, NAGRAT, Mr Bolina Saaka, CHASS, and Mr Kofi Britwum, Conference of Regional Directors of Education, said Invigilators would receive 20,000 cedis; Assistant Supervisors, 24,000 cedis and Supervisors, 30,000 cedis per session.

It, therefore, called on all teachers to invigilate this year’s examination. 29 June 04
