NADMO, Police, Fire Service alerted of looming danger

Kumasi, Oct 12, GNA – A medical practitioner, Dr K. Antwi of County Hospital at Abrepo in Kumasi, has alerted the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the Ghana National Fire Service and the Police Service about the danger posed to his house at Abrepo by a warehouse.

He told the GNA that he had informed the authorities that the adjoining four-storey warehouse, which was poorly constructed, had collapsed almost to the ground and posed danger to his building, which houses the staff of the Hospital.

Dr Antwi said the warehouse could collapse and destroy his house and appealed to the relevant institutions to initiate effective measures to avert any destruction of property and lives.
