Nabugbelle community outdoor chief

The Nabugbelle Kingmakers over the weekend officially outdoored their chief Kuoro Alhaji Alhassan Dubie IV at a colourful ceremony in Sissala East district after 17 years of not having a chief.

Though the Chief was enskinned in 1999 Kuoro Dubie IV had his outdooring delayed following a dispute over his legitimacy by one of the royal gates in the area.

The Upper West Regional House of Chiefs, National House of Chiefs and the Supreme court affirmed his legitimacy 5 years ago after a ruling.

Speaking at the event, Kuoro Dubie IV indicated his readiness to tackle education in the area.

He promised to ensure that majority of the resources are channelled into education to ensure that the cycle of poverty is broken.
