Tamale, Feb. 13, GNA – The Tamale branch of the Nabdam Youth Association has congratulated Mr Boniface A. Gambilla on his appointment as the Upper East Regional Minister.
In a statement issued in Tamale and signed by Mr. John J. Soka, Chairman and Mr Peter T. Zure, Secretary, the Association expressed its gratitude to President John Agyekum Kufuor for nominating Mr Gambilla. The statement said: “As a son of the area, we see your appointment to this high office as an honour not only to yourself but to all citizens of the area”.
The Association advised Mr Gambilla to establish good working relationship with all the Members of Parliament in the Region, especially Mr. Moses Asaga, Member of Parliament for Nabdam to accelerate development in the area.
It urged the Regional Minister to bring his expertise to bear on his work and initiate programmes that would promote the rapid development of the Region in particular and the country as a whole.
