Naadu Mills Fingered

First lady, Naadu Mills is to blame for the brouhaha that afflicted her husband, President John Mills, last week, family friends of the First Family have told the DAYBREAK.

“She would simply not allow the security guys into the home, not even to attend nature’s call and even when it rains they have to take shelter in the homes of benevolent neighbors… If Naadu had allowed the security men to at least take shelter in the house especially when it rains, there would have been no need for the President to want another accommodation for them…

“Where else should security men go and pee or take shelter when it rains than the very place they are protecting” the family friends noted and revealed other sensitive issues DAYBREAK would hesitate to make public because our editorial policy is to protect the sanctity of the institution called ‘marriage’ The scandal broke last week after the Daily Searchlight newspaper published a story alleging that President Mills has put up a mansion. The President’s spokesperson Koku Anyidohu, in an interview with a Tema based private radio station, Adom Fm, said the building was a “token” from real estate developers Regimanuel Gray. This ‘confession cum explanation’ led to several question being asked of the President

The Managing Director of Regimanuel Gray, Mrs. Regina Botwe, waded into the controversy when she announced that the property which is only at the foundation stage is not a gift to the President.

She further said any time it rains, some of the President’s security men would have to seek shelter in the home of other neighbors there by prompting them to fence the park for the construction of the supposed mansion.

Meanwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) insiders have expressed similar views that had Mrs. Mills been humane enough to accommodate the security men in her house, this needless publication would not be in the public domain.
