The NPP youth wing under the leadership of Mr. Anthony Abayifaa Karbo has again chalked another success in terms of improving the youth wing of the parties’ democratic culture.
The youth wing of every political party is very essential as the youth is equally important to the nation, so as, it is to the party. Therefore, it is of great substance to elect or nominate people of great substance and track records to handle such vital position of this great party, NPP.
Leadership is about people. It is about how to lead people to achieve the desired outcomes for a course. It becomes more delicate when it involves the youth. According to the Bible in the book of Proverbs, the qualities of good leadership are hard work, good listening skills, wise planning and common sense, ability to stand danger and pressure and honesty to new ideas not forgetting his or her ability to lobby. He should always be ready to protect the interest of his people more than himself. Anytime I see Karbo with the National Chairman (Jake), is either lobbying for someone in the youth wing or he is coming out with programmes and structures that will seek the betterment and improve the stands of youth of the party. No wonder he succeeded in getting 25% rebate for the youth who were contesting as Parliamentary Candidates in the just ended primaries.
I have a strong conviction that Anthony Karbo commonly called the Commander has what it takes to lead and use the youth wing of the New Patriotic Party (N.P.P.) to canvass votes for victory 2012.
He is one of the hard working national executives who dedicate all his time, energy just to name a few to the betterment of the party more especially to the youth of the party and to the nation at large.
I am always thankful to the Lord Almighty for the crop of leaders granted unto us at this particular time. The very time we needed them most.
