My Victory Is For All-Akilu Sayibu

The newly elected parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic party (NPP) for the Tamale North constituency for election 2012 Mr. Akilu Sayibu has told the media in Tamale that, his victory is for all and has therefore called on all in the NPP to come on board for a resounding victory in election 2012.
Mr. Akilu Sayibu in a statement told the media that, “The internal party battle was over and the next battle is the battle against the incompetent NDC government which can only be won through unity of the NPP”
“Our brothers and sisters are faced with excruciating suffering, there is mass unemployment in the country under the NDC, human rights and dignity of Ghanaians are being violated on hourly basis and it was therefore time for the “Yutong bus and its driver and passengers to go” said Mr. Akilu Sayibu
The Tamale North parliamentary candidate said his victory is for the Youth and has therefore entreated the Youth to join him to bring accelerated development to all in the Tamale North constituency irrespective of their political affiliations.

Mr. Akilu Sayibu also used the occasion to thank his other contestants for putting up a spirited fight in the Tamale North constituency and ask them to rally behind him to consolidate the party in the constituency.
The statement also thanked the Electoral Commission of Ghana, The Ghana Police service, the Council of elders of the party in the Tamale North constituency, the constituency executives, the constituency election committee, the various Youth groups, the Akilu Sayibu Fan club his campaign team, the polling station executives and his numerous friends and family who supported him in diverse ways to secure his victory on the 30th April 2011.
