My teenage kids have agreed to marry after welcoming new born baby – Obinim

Founder and Leader of God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has said he will take full responsibility of the upkeep of a new born baby from his foster children.

According Daniel Obinim, he will make sure teenage father of the new born baby will go back to school to complete his Junior High education and continue to Senior High School while mother of the baby is given enough attention to take care of the new baby.

Speaking to host of Abusua Nkommo Kwame Adinkrah, Bishop Obinim disclosed the two teenage ‘couples’ have agreed to marry when the time is due.

It is recalled in 2016, Obinim was embroiled in a physical assault scandal for flogging two teenagers during a church service after it emerged that they had engaged in premarital sex which led to conception.

The case was reported to the police where there is an ongoing case against the Church founder.

But the two teenagers yesterday showed up at God’s Way International Ministries for thanksgiving service.

The teenage mother and father also took the opportunity to thank Bishop Obinim for the moral and spiritual support during the period of the pregnancy.

Obinim said, “Kwame, the two of them have agreed to marry and I think the boy is not prepared for marriage now since he is still in school.”

“I have decided to sponsor his education until such a time he will be independent enough to keep his and child as a responsible father.”

“As for the girl, I will commit resources to ensure she and the baby get the best support while preparing for marriage,” he added.
