My commitment to rule of law unwavering – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo has emphasized his commitment to serve Ghana under conditions of the Rule of law.

Notwithstanding his regard for civility and the Rule of law, the President has had a terrible moment dealing with security issues surging, following the mayhem caused by an affiliate NPP vigilante group-Delta Force.

But addressing a Press Conference after a maiden Cabinet Retreat held over the weekends at the Peduase lodge, President Akufo-Addo said “we are determined to deliver” amidst all the difficulties that have emerged, making reference to the troubles fomented by the party’s vigilante group-Delta Force among others.

“We are assuring the nation that we are going to serve Ghana under conditions of the Rule of Law- we are not wavering in that commitment. And we believe that overwhelming majority of the Ghanaian people supports us in that commitment.”

The weekend’s Cabinet retreat by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration was aimed at assessing the government’s performance in the last three months after assuming the reins of power in January 7, 2017.
