Accra, Feb. 25, GNA -As part of the activities marking the 47th Independence Cerebrations, the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, has directed all Regional, District and Local Imams to offer prayers to the Nation on Friday, February 27, 2004.
Imam Sharubutu said they should also offer prayers to the Head of State, the Vice President and all opinion leaders.
A Press Release from the Office of the Imam issued in Accra on Wednesday said, the National Chief Imam will lead prayers at the Abossey Okai Central Mosque and called on all Imams to co-operate.
