Muslim Students express shock of Ennin’s death

Kumasi, March 12, GNA – The Ashanti Regional branch of Ghana Muslim Students Association (GMSA) has expressed shock of the murder of Mr Samuel Ennin, Chairman of Ashanti Regional branch of Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) in Kumasi a month ago.

Mr Abdul-Majeed Musah, Immediate past President of the association in a statement issued in Kumasi at the weekend, described the act as barbaric.

The association said it was through the dynamism and pluralistic attitude coupled with Mr Ennin’s kindness that it was given the opportunity to host some programmes on Ash FM in Kumasi where the deceased was the editor.

It extended condolences to the bereaved family and the GJA and urged the police to investigate the matter to arrest those behind the heinous act.
