Music Carnival ends NAFAC 2000

A star-studded musical carnival on Saturday night brought down the curtain on the 10-day eighth National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFAC) 2000 at Ho.

The more than five-hour musical concert featured artistes like Tic-Tac, Obrafuo, Nana Quarme, Chicago, Deeba, Lord Kenya and Naa Agyeman. They thrilled the crowd that thronged the festival ground to hip-life music that drew spontaneous applause from the audience some of who could not help but to take to the floor.

In attendance was Prestige and X-105 spinning groups who provided background music.

The festival was on the theme, ” Sustaining a culture of peace, unity and development in a new millennium”.

Among the highlights were seminars, arts exhibitions and crafts bazaars, highlife and traditional beauty pageant, regional days and cultural displays.
