Mualvi Adam receives Ambassador for Peace Award

Accra, Jan. 10, GNA – The Inter-religious and International Federation for World Peace (IIFWP) based in Seoul has recognised Maulvi A Wahab Adam, the Ameer and Missionary in-charge of the Ahmaddiyya Muslim Mission, Ghana as an “Ambassador for Peace.”

A statement signed by Osofo Muhammad Bin Ishaque, Public Relations Officer of the Mission in Accra on Monday quoted IIFWP as saying, “an ambassador for peace transcends racial, national and religious barriers in contributing to the fulfilment of the hopes of all ages.”

The statement said the citation of the award to Maulvi Adam by IIFWP “acknowledges as ambassador for peace, individuals whose lives exemplify the ideal of living for the sake of others and who dedicate themselves to practices, which promote the founding ideals of the federation.

“These ideals, include universal moral values, strong family life, inter-religious cooperation and the establishment of a culture of peace,” the statement added.
