MTN Foundation hands over school block to Akim Asafo SHS

Foundation has pledged their continuous support to the wellbeing of Ghanaians as part of their Cooperate Social Responsibility (CRS).

Senior manager, sustainability and social impact, Robert Kuzoe who disclosed this indicated that the Foundation over the past nine years has contributed a lot to the development of education in the country.

Speaking at Akim Asafo at a ceremony to handover a three classroom block with store and a staff common room at a cost of 290,000 cedis to the Akim Asafo senior high school.

“We know government alone cannot do all hence the need for us to support in ensuring education is well invested into” He said.

Mr. Kuzoe was of the view that education is the only way to help in the economic development of the country and that much needs to be done to improve its quality.

Headmaster of the school, Isaac Osew Larbi however expressed gratitude to MTN Foundation for their support since the building would go a long way to help in the academic performance of students.

He also appealed to other cooperate bodies to come assist the school from their numerous challenges.
