Mrs Adobea Akuffo is dead

Mrs Comfort Amma Adobea Akuffo, 98-year-old widow of the late Reverend David Asante Akuffo, a founder of the Presbyterian Signing Band’s Union of Ghana, is dead.

She was the mother of Dr Fred Akuffo of the Lagoon Clinic, Tema and former Presidential Aspirant of the Convention People’s Party.

She was also the mother of Mr Steve Akuffo of the National Development Commission and past President of Ghana Institute of Architects and Mr David Bekow Akuffo, formerly with the Council of State as Chief Director.

She was also an aunt of Nana Addo-Dankwah Akuffo-Addo, Flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party.

The family would celebrate the first week anniversary of the death on Monday, November 10 November, at the family house at Akropong-Akuapem.
