MPs react to “job-for-the-boys” ministries

The Minority in Parliament have accused President Nana Akufo-Addo of largely creating new ministerial positions to satisfy friends.

A section of Ghanaians also questioned the need to create ministries such as Sanitation as well as Regional Reorganisation and Special Projects.

“It is evidently clear that His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is on a mission to find jobs for the boys,”former Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Inusah Fuseini told TV3 in parliament on Wednesday.

He also mocked and called the Sanitation ministry as “a ministry for Zoomlion). But some members in the Majority think the new creations were apt.
