Mpohor MP lauded for dev’t projects

The residents of the Mpohor Constituency in the Ahanta West District, have lauded Mr. Alexander Agyekum, Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, for the numerous social intervention programmes in the area.

The community had, therefore, unanimously decided that the MP should contest unopposed in the upcoming primaries and parliamentary elections of the New Patriotic Party.

Mr. Agyekum who was delighted about this move by his people, told the Ghana News Agency: “I am marvelled by the seed of unity for this new district”.

The MP has brought development to the area through the provision of access roads to communities such as Dombra and Akonho, boreholes, hospitals supplies, and a pickup, among others.

He had also awarded scholarships and paid school fees to the tune of GH¢20, 000.00 in addition to assisting women with small loans to engage in trading activities.
