MP supports rainstorm victims in KEEA

The Member of Parliament for Komenda- Edina-Eguafo-Abrem, Nana Ato Arthur, on Sunday presented 20 packets of roofing sheets to victim of a rainstorm that hit three communities in the constituency.

The communities are Abrem Saaman, Abrem-Ankaase and Abrem-Agona.

At least 29 houses were affected with 13, including the 12 Apostolic and Catholic churches at Saaman, nine at Ankaase including a mosque and seven at Agona and houses had their roofs ripped off.

Nana Arthur said the donation was his widow’s mite to ease the difficulties they were facing and appealed to the National Disaster Management Organisation to assist the victims.

Nana Osei Kojo, Gyasehene of Abrem Saaman, commended the MP for the quick response and appealed to the MP to assist the community to complete its community school which is at the foundation level.
