MP provides money to roof school canteen

Kasoa (C/R), Sept 9, GNA – Mr Ernest Attuquaye Armah, MP for Ga South, has presented a check for five million cedis from his share of the Common Fund to the Ngleshie Amanfro Secondary School NASEC, near Kasoa.

Mr Andrews Lartey Lawson, Headmaster, received the amount, which would be used to roof a canteen constructed by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

Mr Armah said, his consideration was based on the fact that the school lacked many basic facilities and expressed the hope the amount would promote education in the area.

Mr Lawson expressed the gratitude of the students and staff for the money and promised that it would used for the purpose it was given. The Ga South Constituency has been demarcated into two parliamentary seats for the 2004 general elections. 09 Sept 04
