MP gives to children in his constituency

Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, on Christmas day distributed assorted items to children in the various communities within his constituency.

The items included Mathematical sets, exercise books, toys, biscuits, and toffees.

The donation was to put smiles on the faces of the children and make them part of the celebration of the birthday of Jesus Christ.

Mr Buah, also the Minister of Energy and Petroleum Resources, visited almost every town in his constituency to distribute items to the children.

Later in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, he said Christmas is an occasion where people must give and share adding that children must be entertained to feel part of the season.

Mr Buah also hosted party faithful of the National Democratic Congress to dinner amidst music and dance in appreciation of their hard work, especially during the 2012 general elections.

The MP also hosted heads of department in the district and congratulated them for their sense of dedication and commitment to duty.

He asked them to put their differences aside and work together to propel the development of the area.
