MP for Prestea Huni/Valley files nomination

Francis Adu Blay Koffie, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Prestea Huni/Valley, has filed his nomination papers to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary slated for November 7.

Mr. Koffie who is being challenged by the current District Chief Executive, Mr. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, and Mr. Seidu Esilfie, is seeking to be retained as the candidate for next year’s general elections.

Submitting his forms at the party’s office at Bogoso to Mr. Matthew Ayeh, Constituency Secretary, the MP expressed gratitude to all NDC members for their support and dedication over the years.

He assured them that the development of the party, as well as the constituency, would continue to be his prime agenda.

Mr. Koffie said with his continuous assistance to the needs of the people and interaction with the constituents, he was the best candidate to maintain the seat for the party for the third time.

The MP said even though they were all competing for one position, they belonged to one family with the singular aim of making the NDC greater and stronger.

He advised his fellow contenders to base their campaigns on issues, and avoid attacking other aspirants with unfounded allegations.

Receiving the nomination forms, Mr. Ayeh urged all the aspirants to conduct decent campaigns and with decorum.
