MP Donates to constituents

Bole, June 9, GNA – The MP for Bole-Bamboi, Mr. John Mahama, has presented medical items valued over thirty million cedis, to the Bole hospital, as his personal contribution towards improved health delivery for the people. They include theatre equipments, disinfectants, diapers, surgical gloves, and gowns, trawlers, sponge pads, sputum containers, Ventilator conduit, sterile gloves, bandages and cotton wool.

Presenting the items, Mr Mahama thanked the hospital staff for their dedicated services to the sick at the hospital, and promised to continue to solicit more donations and assistance from the Church of Jesus Christ Later Days Saints in Accra, who made the donation following an appeal he made.

Mr Mahama thanked the church for its wonderful assistance and hope the items would be fully utilised by the hospital to benefit the entire people of Bole district.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, the Acting District Director Of Health Services, Hajia Hawawu Mahama thanked the MP and donors of the items for their concern for the sick. She appealed for a standby generator to enhance surgical operations when lights go off at the hospital, and an ambulance to transport emergency cases to either Wa, or Tamale hospital.

Hajia Mahama requested for an incubator for the hospital’s labour Ward and BP apparatus. She gave the assurance that the items donated would be used to enhance health delivery in the Bole district, and hoped the MP would continue to assist the hospital.
