MP donates footballs to Tankor Methodist Primary

Tankor (B/A), Feb 1, GNA – Mr Hayford Francis Amoako, MP for Nkoranza, has presented two footballs to the Methodist Primary School at Tankor to promote sports.

Three youth also presented various items to enhance academic work. Mr Kwabena Peter, a radio mechanic, Mr Eric Kofi Kyeremeh of Agricultural Development Bank and Mr Simon Ameyaw, a mason, donated 300,000 cedis, a wall clock and stationery, respectively.

Madam Grace Anane, Headteacher, expressed gratitude for the donation and urged other citizens of the area to assist in the development of the school.

She appealed to the School’s Management Committee to help address the numerous problems facing the school, including lack of a recreational ground, urinal and football jerseys. Madam Anane urged the teachers to work hard to improve the academic performance of the pupils.
