MP commended for providing electricity bulbs

Techiman, July 22, GNA – Residents of Wangaraline Electoral Area in Techiman have commended the MP for Techiman South, Mr Prince Oduro-Mensah, for providing bulbs worth nine million cedis for an electrification project in the area.

Mr George Adu-Kaakyire, Assembly Member, told Ghana News Agency in an interview that the people were highly appreciative of the MP’s prompt response to their request for the items.

He noted that the provision of the streetlights had greatly reduced nefarious activities in the area to the barest minimum. “The streetlights have regenerated economic activities of the residents, as street traders now go about their activities without any harassment by criminals and other miscreants”, he said.

Mr Adu-Kaakyire called on the people to laud the efforts of the MP and support him by paying their taxes for the completion of more development projects to help improve their living standards.
