MP asks constituents to avoid chieftaincy disputes

Jukwa Mfuom (C/R), April 28, GNA – Rev. Ben Donkor, Member of Parliament for Hemang-Lower-Denkyira constituency on Wednesday appealed to chiefs and people of the area to refrain from unnecessary chieftaincy disputes and gear their efforts towards development. He made the appeal during the election of Mr. Paul Kwesi Owusu, an Estate Officer, of Twifo Praso secondary school as regent of Jukwa Mfuom at Mfuom.

Rev. Donkor said chieftaincy disputes and petty quarrels were the causing division among the people and could eventually retard development.

He asked them to co-operate with the regent to ensure peace and rapid development of the area.
