Vehicular traffic along the Tema to Accra side of the Tema motorway came to a standstill on Thursday morning when an articulated truck with registration number AS 9337 -10, somersaulted and fell over, blocking the road.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred several hours ago.
Citi News’ Nii Tettey Attram reported that one of three passengers in the truck died at the scene of the accident.
A Fire Service tow truck, according to him, was at the scene trying to move the vehicle to ease traffic to flow at the time of filing this report.
“Its been cleared partially, so the cars are making (their) way… It stretches for at least a mile and a half or at least two miles.”
