A 26 year-old Okada rider has allegedly raped a 50 year old woman in a bush at Mangoase, a small village near Dadieso in the Western region.
Sir Joe our correspondent in a report said, the suspect carried out his act after he was hired by the victim to carry her load of cassava from her farm.
Meanwhile, the suspect, Francis Nkrumah has denied raping the victim insisting that, she gave her consent to the sexual encounter.
According to him, the woman has on several occasions hired him to carry her load and also made sexual advances at him so was surprised she reported him to the police.
The suspect would be arraigned before court on Monday January 16, 2016, Sir Joe added.
