Mothers’ are backbone of the economy

Accra May 8, GNA – Hajia Alima Mahama, Minister of Women and Children Affair, on Saturday said mothers were the backbone of the economy as their contribution is over 70 per cent to the economy. She said women’s contribution to the socio-economic development at the household, community and national levels were often not fully valued.
