Mother of triplets calls for assistance

Mrs Emelia Adobea, a 26-year old mother of triplets, has made a passionate appeal to philanthropists, benevolent societies, and religious organizations, to come to her aid in caring for her new-born triplets.

Making the appeal in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Nankese near Suhum, Mrs Adobea said, she delivered the babies after under-going a surgical operation at the Koforidua Regional Hospital on February 26.

She thanked Madam Akosua Takyi, a Koforidua philanthropist, for footing her medical bills, and additionally transporting her back to Nankese.

Mrs Adobea told the GNA that she already had four children, and unfortunately she and the husband were both unemployed.

‘At the moment, I and the triplets live on charity from friends and loved ones, and I am optimistic that well-meaning individuals and groups, will come over to Macedonia and help us.’

She requested that all financial and material assistance, should be channeled through the Koforidua Regional Hospital where she delivered.
