Mother granted bail after charged with exposing child to danger

Tema, Feb. 18, GNA – The Tema Circuit Court ‘B’, has granted a 20-year-old mother, a bail of 100 million cedis with one surety, for exposing her 11 month old girl to danger, leading to the tragic death of the baby who fell from an eighth floor of the abandoned Meridian Hotel in Tema to the ground.

Lucy Fiamordzi, who pleaded not guilty to exposing her child to danger without supervision would reappear on March 3, this year. Prosecuting Police Chief Inspector Edith Nutakor said on February 9 this year, Lucy left the girl to dispose of rubbish downstairs and few minutes later the baby fell from the floor and crushed to death. 18 Feb. 05
