Moslems advised against conflicts

Techiman (B/A), Jan 4, GNA – Maulvi Yusif Bin Sali, Missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Moslem Mission in Brong Ahafo has cautioned Moslems against conflicts.

“Islam does not preach and practice conflicts or the commitment of suicides”, he said.

Maulvi Sali who was leading adherents of the sect in prayers at the forecourt of the Ahmadiyya mission to celebrate the Eid Ul Adha festival in Techiman, advised Moslems to continue to sacrifice for the progress of the religion and the nation.

He urged them to invest in their children’s education, since it was the cornerstone of development, instead of spending their resources on expensive clothing.

Mr. Addai Simons, MP for Techiman South, charged the people to join the war against the spread of HIV/AIDS by educating the youth to desist from casual sex.

He urged Moslems to live in peace with their neighbours, contribute to the development of their communities and to participate in government programmes and activities.
