Moses Asaga appointed NPA boss

President John Mahama has appointed Mr Moses Asaga as the Acting CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).

Mr Asaga, a former Minister for Employment and Social Welfare, replaces Mr Alex Mould, who is now the CEO of the Ghana National Petroleum (GNPC).

Mr Asaga was a former Member of Parliament for Nabdam and also the former chairman for the parliamentary select committee on Mines and Energy, Oil and Gas.

President Mahama also announced the appointment of Mr. Kirk Koffie as the Acting Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority (VRA). Mr Ras Liberty Amewode has also been asked to serve as the Deputy Head of the Communications Unit of the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.
