More V/R schools to join feeding programme

She said many more deprived communities must get unto the Programme because of its positive impact.

Madam Sowah was interacting with Coordinators of the Programme in the Volta Region at Keta to assess its success.

She said indications were that the project was helping to improve school enrolment and retention and urged the Coordinators to extend it to more communities.

Madam Sowah asked the Coordinators to own the Programme and desist from making negative comments about it and urged caterers to demonstrate love to the beneficiaries by giving them the best of meals.

She said that way; they could be helping to make the project sustainable and accessible to more less- privileged children.

The Coordinators expressed worry about delays in making payments to caterers and prayed that prompt payments be made to reduce challenges facing the Programme.
