More students dismissed from Legon

LEGON, OCT 13, GNA – The authorities of the University of Ghana Legon, have dismissed a total of 255 students from the Faculties of Arts and Social Studies for failing to make the minimum requirement of 1.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in the 2002/2003 Examinations.

A further 51 students have been put on probation are to take courses they failed in during the 2002/2003 Academic Year.

These were contained in a release dated October 9, 2003 from the Academic Affairs outfit of the University of Ghana and signed by the Deputy Registrar, Mr. Theophilus Tabi.

This brings the total number of students dismissed from the University of Ghana Legon to 402. Out of this number 76 are currently on probation.

Authorities of the University of Ghana Legon, dismissed 147 students from the Faculties of Science, Agricultural Science and the School of Administration for failing to average the minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 1.5 GNA.
