More police recruits dismissed

About 19 more police recruits have been dismissed barely a week after 3news.com reported of 22 sacked trainees from the Pwulugu Police Training School. Out of the latest number, 10 are from the National Police Training School (NPTS) in Kumasi, five from Accra and two each from ho and Koforidua.

According to sources, some of the recruits were found to have changed either the grades, schools or the names and photos on the certificates.

Some males were found with female certificates and vice versa. All this came to light after a forensic audit of their certificates at the West African Examination Council (WAEC). The 10 dismissed recruits in Kumasi have been arraigned before court with some granted bail, 3news.com gathered.
