The Greater Accra Regional Command has reinforced security presence at polling stations in the Odododiodio constituency. This is to evert any clashes within the area.
The constituency has become a major flash point since the beginning of the ongoing biometric registration.
The Public Relations officer of the Greater Accra police command told Citi News “we are in firm control, we’ve deployed enough men on the ground so that the exercise can go on smoothly.
“The regional commander himself was on the ground and we’ve beefed up security so the people of Odododiodio should be calm, we’re doing everything possible to protect everybody.”**
