More countries salute Ghana

Accra, March 6, GNA – Several countries continue to send congratulatory messages to Ghana on the occasion of the 51st Independence Anniversary celebration which falls on Thursday, March 6. A release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said President John Agyekum Kufuor received the goodwill messages from India, South Africa, Singapore and the Republic of Korea.
The Indian President, Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil stated; “it gives me great pleasure to convey my warm greetings and those of the government and the people of India to you and the people of the Republic of Ghana on the occasion of your national day.
