Montie trio apologise to Chief Justice, Judges and others

A radio host with Accra-based Montie FM, and two others who were found guilty for scandalizing the court and sentenced to four months in prison have apologized to the Chief Justice, Supreme Court Judges and others.

Salifu Maase, the host, Alistair Nelson and Godwin Ako Gunn were released from prison following a remission of their sentences by President John Mahama.

The trio after their release rendered an apology to the Chief Justice and the Supreme Court Judges.

The trio also expressed their gratitude to the President for using the article 72 to release them.

The trio promised to be of good behaviour and vowed not to indulge in acts that will lead to contempt of court in the future.
