Monday May 3 declared a public holiday

Accra, April 26, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor by an Executive Instrument has declared Monday May 3, a public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.

A statement issued on Monday and signed by Mr Hackman Owusu-Agyemang, Minister of the Interior said this was in view of the fact that Workers’ Day, May 1, a Statutory Public Holiday, fell on a Saturday.
