Monday is public holiday

Government has declared Monday, September 23, 2013 a a public holiday.

A release signed by Minister of the Interior, Kwesi Ahwoi said Saturday, September 21 marked the Birthday of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the first President of Ghana.

It said in view of the fact that September 21 falls on a Saturday; President John Mahama has by Executive Instrument declared Monday, September 23, as Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
