MOH takes delivery of vehicles for health personnel

Accra, Dec. 6, GNA – The Ministry of Health (MOH) has taken delivery of 265 saloon cars valued at about 16.5 billion cedis for distribution to various categories of health professionals. The delivery, which forms part of the general incentives package designed by the Government, is to attract and retain health professional.

A statement issued by the MOH on Monday said the Government had assisted health professionals to own vehicles under hire-purchase schemes under the Vehicle Ownership Incentive Package.

It said the institution of the incentive package demonstrated Government’s continuous commitment towards improving conditions in the Health Sector for quality and accessible health care delivery.
