Kumasi, Feb 20, GNA – Management of the Metro Mass Transit Limited (MMTL) in Kumasi has decorated 20 of its buses with Ghana @ 50 symbols to advertise to the people the importance of Golden Jubilee Celebration. MMTL will also support the Ashanti Regional Planning Committee of Ghana @50 to transport people in the metropolis on March 6.
Miss Susie Owusu Boateng, the Transport Officer of MMTL, said this when the company presented two symbolic buses to the Ashanti Regional Planning Committee of Ghana @ 50 in Kumasi on Tuesday.
She appealed to people to participate fully in all programs and activities in connection with the Golden Jubilee Celebration. Mr. Emmanuel Asamoah Owusu-Ansah, the Ashanti Regional Minister, expressed gratitude to the company for its support to the anniversary celebration.
He said the Ashanti Regional Planning Committee of the anniversary celebration had released its programme of activities that include, clean-up exercise, choral music competition, March past, forum and others.
The Regional minister appealed to the management of the Company to assist in all the activities to make the anniversary a remarkable one.
