Miotso assemblyman under investigation for threat of death

The Homicide Unit at the Criminal Investigation Department of Ghana Police Headquarters, Accra is investigating an alleged threat of death, by the Miotso Assemblyman at Dawhenya in the Greater Accra Region, on a 40-year-old driver.

Mr Nicholas Nyavor Adden, who has been issued with a medical form to seek medical attention to aid in the investigations, told the Ghana News Agency in Accra that he was supervising people on a piece of land at Dawhenya, to mould blocks when Theophilus Botwey allegedly confronted him with a gang, whilst firing a gun and chased him and his workers away.

He also ordered the landowner at gunpoint to leave the site.

Mr Nyavor alleged that there had been series of cases of threat of death by the Assemblyman and would be happy if the Police pursue the case.
