Minority should seek Doe Adjaho’s counsel – George Loh

Former Member of Parliament for North Dayi George Loh has advised the minority in parliament to always seek the counsel of the former Speaker Doe Adjaho.

The ex-legislator’s comments follow remarks by Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu that the former speaker still controls the minority from home.

Loh told host of Morning Starr Francis Abban Friday that the former Speaker has no interest in meddling in the activities of the law making body even though he has deep knowledge that must be tapped into.

“He [Doe Adjaho] is speaker and by virtue of being speaker, he is more knowledgeable about parliamentary issues and for me; I will encourage Haruna Iddrisu and others to defer to the former speaker as much as possible to continue to guide them on parliamentary proceedings,” he said.

The former law maker further stated that “it is more useful to tap from elders when they are available”.
