Ministry to address alleged corruption at GYEEDA

The Youth and Sports Minister is expected to address a much anticipated news conference Wednesday to address alleged corruption plaguing the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Agency, GYEEDA.

This follows a series of revelations by Joy News’ investigations into the activities of the youth employment agency.

The minister has frozen all payments to beneficiaries of the agency to allow the restructuring of the payment method in order to check corruption.

Joy News understands that the sector Minister, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah plans to use today’s briefing, to officially address the issue.
