Ministry of National Orientation Sounds Communist

It is now known that the new ministerial portfolio ?National Orientation? is nothing but an attempt to change the negative attitudes of Ghanaians.

In other words, the ministry?s work is premised along the objectives of the failed Campaign for Greater Discipline launched by the Vice President and disappointingly managed by Andrew Awuni.

Political scientist Professor Emmanuel Gyimah Boadi thinks the creation of the ministry does not make sense

?It sounds very old fashioned, very communist, I don?t know what it all means to have a ministry of national orientation. Sounds like something that George Orwell will have invented. ?
