Ministry of Defence commends funeral committee

The Ministry of Defence has commended the Funeral Planning Committee of the Late President John Evans Atta Mills for the professional manner they handled the burial and funeral service of the late President.

A statement issued in Accra by Lieutenant General Joseph Henry Smith congratulated the committee members for their dedication and zeal combined with the technical expertise which made the work done.

It said “you have made us all proud with your sincere determination and serious efforts, the planning and execution of the task was excellent.”

The statement expressed the hope that the work of the funeral planning committee would be recognized by Ghanaians for proper appreciation.

“It is therefore with pride and appreciation that our profound thanks go out to your committee members for the result you have achieved,” it added.
