Ministry gives hospital X-ray and scanning machines to hospital

New Edubiase (Ash), June 28, GNA – The Ministry of Health, through the Ghana Health Service (GHS), has provided the New Edubiase Government Hospital in the Adansi South District with X-ray and scanning machines.

The provision of the machines formed part of a programme to upgrade the hospital, Mr David Ohene Karikari, the Hospital Administrator, told the GNA in an interview. He said hospital would soon get a transformer. A refrigerator for the mortuary and furniture are other facilities to be provided by the end of September.

All these facilities, Mr Karikari said, would help to reduce the number of referral cases to nearby hospitals and also reduce maternal deaths in the district.
