Ministry and Shandong Province Signs MOU

The Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Shandong Province in China yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen trade and investment.

The Chief Director of the ministry, Mr. Kojo Adjapong and the Deputy Director General of Shandong’s Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, Mr. Liang Bo signed the agreement.

Mr. Liang Bo who led a 31-member business delegation from China said they have identified textiles, agro food production and processing, information technology, wood processing and tools manufacturing as potential areas to invest in.

Other areas are ceramics, warehousing and pineapple export business.
